N.C. - Revco has published a new full-color product guide
featuring the Legaci™ system, a new, highly reliable ultra-low
temperature refrigeration technology developed exclusively for
storage of high value materials in pharmaceutical, biotechnology,
hospital/clinical and industrial applications.
Legaci™ is now a standard feature in the complete line of Revco ultra-low temperature freezers, including upright and chest models (from -40°C to -86°C) of the Ultima II, Elite and Value series products. The guide provides information regarding freezer dimensions, inventory systems and a summary offering an at-a-glance reference for standard features. Legaci™ integrates custom designed compressors built to GS Laboratory Equipment specifications by The Copeland Corporation, charged with CFC-free DuPont Suva® refrigerants and commanded by a microprocessor-based digital control/alarm/monitor system. Biomedical storage applications include high value pharmaceuticals, cell cultures, blood, skin and bone tissue, stem cells, embryos, and seed cultures. Revco designs, manufactures and markets a complete line of microprocessor- controlled, high-performance laboratory refrigerators and freezers, chest and upright low-temperature freezers from -50ºC to -86ºC; mechanically refrigerated -140ºC and -150ºC cryogenic storage systems; and automatic CO2 cell culture incubators used in life science, industrial and hospital/clinical applications world-wide.
