-30°C Upright, Automatic Defrost

Revco upright -30°C plasma freezers include compact Undercounter and Space Saver versions designed for smaller volume storage plus larger capacity 23, 30 and 51 cu.ft. models. All feature automatic defrost systems with built-in condensate evaporators.

As part of Revco's extensive blood bank product line, these -30°C plasma freezers are outfitted with controls, alarms, alarm tests and inventory systems designed to adhere to AABB, ANRC and FDA criteria.

All models are designed to meet UL and CSA criteria for safety and performance.

Control System
Three position keyed on/off switch for main power and temperature alarm functions.
Pre-set -30°C temperature setpoint (user adjustable).
Digital temperature display, resolution to within 0.1°C.

Alarm System
Keyed alarm ON/OFF switch.
Audible and visual temperature alarm indicator.
Cold and warm alarm setpoints; user adjustable.
Continuous-charge battery back-up allows alarm to function during power failure.
Alarm silence button to mute audible alarm signal.
Alarm ringback repeats warning at regular intervals until fault is corrected.
Alarm automatically resets when cabinet temperature returns to normal.
Remote alarm contact provided for connection to remote alarm/monitoring system.

Alarm Test System
Simple push-button test physically heats alarm probe to simulate overtemperature condition.
Allows alarm test with door closed; prevents unnecessary door openings.
Extra-long alarm probe lead allows easy manual testing and verification when desired.

Cabinet Construction and Inventory System
Keyed door locks on all models for added security.
Cabinet capacities from 99 to 798 plasma bags in boxes (400ml).
Solid doors with peripheral closed cell door gasket to maintain temperature integrity. Doors are spring-loaded on models UFP-2330, UFP-3030 and UFP-5030.
High-density, CFC-free urethane foam insulation protects cabinet from ambient temperature fluctuations and minimizes operation costs.
Deep profile stainless steel drawers, fully extendible for better access to inventory.
High impact epoxy coating for scratch resistant interior and exterior surfaces; undercounter models feature stainless steel interior and exterior construction.

Refrigeration System
Dependable, hermetically sealed compressors are standard on all models.
All models include automatic defrost with built-in condensate removal; no drain line required.

Temperature Recorders
Temperature recorder, 7-day chart drive, single pen, provides permanent record of storage conditions; recorders are standard or optional, depending on model. Six-inch recorders utilize pressure-sensitive chart paper; no inking is required. Four-inch recorders utilize inked pens.
