Lab and Enzyme Freezers,
-20°C Upright, Manual Defrost

Revco offers two manual defrost, -20°C upright freezers for storage applications where slight intermittent coil warming during an auto defrost cycle is not desired. Both models feature gravity convection air systems for maximum stability without blowers or fans.

Chose from the Revco Enzyme Storage Freezer, Model UEN2320, with an efficient easily accessible inventory system, or the General Purpose Lab Freezer offering flexible utility value with 4 wire shelves. Both are designed to meet UL and CSA criteria for safety and performance.

Performance and Control
Operation temperature -20°C, temperature stability ±0.75°C, uniformity top-to-bottom ±2.5°C.

Alarm System (Model UEN2320 Only)
Keyed alarm ON/OFF switch
Audible and visual temperature alarm indicator
Warm alarm setpoint, user adjustable.
Continuous-charge battery back-up allows alarm to function during power failure
Alarm silence button to mute audible signal.
Alarm ringback repeats warning at intervals until fault is corrected.
Alarm automatically resets when temperature normalizes.
Remote alarm contacts for connection to remote monitoring system.

Alarm Test (Model UEN2320 Only)
Push-button, closed door alarm text function physically heats alarm probed to simulate overtemp condition without affecting actual temperature.
Extra-long alarm probe lead allows easy manual testing and verification when desired.

Cabinet Construction and Inventory System
Solid doors with keyed door locks to improve security; peripheral door gasket minimizes frost build-up in humid environments.
High-density, CFC-free foamed-in-place urethane foam insulation protects cabinet from ambient temperature fluctuations, improves stability and minimizes operation costs.

Inventory System
Enzyme Freezer features 9 wire shelves with enzyme storage system of 5 bins per shelf, maximum 45 bins. The General Lab Freezer has 4 open wire shelves, standard.

Refrigeration System
Dependable, hermetically sealed refrigeration compressors, air-cooled.
Manual defrost.
