A water jacket surrounds
the interior chamber for thermal stability and uniform heating.
Gentle air flow within the chamber assures top-to-bottom temperature
uniformity at all shelf levels, and up to 96% RH at +37°
C to minimize desiccation of small volume samples. |

Full Size Water-Jacketed Incubators,
Ultima And Elite Series
Revco
full size water-jacketed CO2 incubators are available in
both single chamber and dual chamber models.
Revco water-jacketed CO2 incubators create a new standard
for performance, convenience and contamination control. The full-size
CO2 incubators represent a combination of microprocessor
control, innovative cabinet construction and a time-tested water-jacketed
heating technique to create stable, uniform temperature. Gentle air
flow maintains desired still air environment for optimum cell culture
conditions, maintains temperature, humidity and CO2 uniformity
throughout the chamber at all shelf levels.

The microprocessor-based IntrLogicä control
system provides comprehensive control, monitoring and display of all
incubator systems for safe, efficient operation. Bright, easy-to-read
LED displays, function pads, touchpad data entry and indicator lights
are integrated into a sleek, self-contained control panel which is easy
to use, easy to clean. A computer data port (standard on Ultima, optional
on Elite models) simplifies connection to remote monitoring and data
logging systems.
Temperature Control

Contamination Management

Ultima models feature deep-drawn seamless
interiors with cove corners for easier cleaning. |
Revco Ultima full-size incubators offer
the latest advances in stainless steel craftsmanship with new deep-drawn
interiors. Large, wide radius cove corners are easy to clean. Copper
bonded interiors are also available on select Ultima models for applications
requiring extra contamination protection.
Copper Bonded Stainless
Interiors Add Extra Contamination Control
Copper bonded interior surfaces
can add an extra measure of germicidal protection in installations where
chronic contamination is a problem. In the humidified, CO2
enriched incubator environment, metallurgical properties of copper creates
natural fungicides which inhibit the growth of molds, spores, yeasts
and fungi on exposed surfaces. The combination of copper, easily cleaned
seamless interiors, and optional HEPA filtration provide multiple barriers
to contamination in the in vitro environment.
Cabinet Construction
Revco
full-size Ultima and Elite incubator interior walls and plenum components
are formed from high quality, corrosion resistant stainless steel designed
to withstand the incubator environment. Interior configurations are
identical on both single and dual chamber models.
- Ultima models feature deep-drawn
seamless interiors with cove corners for easier cleaning.
- Elite models have conventional
welded interiors with non-porous filled seams to resist hidden contaminants.
- The triple-wall superstructure
is insulated with structural foam insulation to enhance temperature
control.
- Each chamber has a tempered glass
inner door with a positive latch which seals against a closed-cell
silicone gasket to maintain cabinet integrity.
- The outer door on each chamber
seals against the cabinet face via a magnetic gasket; a heating system
minimizes condensation build-up on the interior glass.
- Standard right hand door hinges
can be ordered with (factory installed) left hand door swing.
- A 1" (2.5cm) access port
in each chamber permits addition of probes or instrument leads as
required.
- The optional HEPA filter assembly
snaps into place without tools; filters are easily removed and replaced.
